Please note that while our in-person worship services have resumed, our on-site ministries for children have not. The current health crisis makes for a difficult ministry environment, both in terms of safety for children, volunteers, and their families but also in terms of classroom dynamic. Our heart is to create fun, engaging spaces where children feel the love of Jesus every moment in our care. We will continue to plan for that in the not-too-distant future. When the time is right, we will be excited to welcome everyone back! Until then, please take advantage of these family friendly options:

- your children are welcome to join you at any on-site worship service...we anticipate they will be with us!
- try our new Worship Together service on Thursdays at 6pm that is open to all ages and designed with families in will also be recorded and available to watch on demand through our website
- continue to look to our Family Resource page for great resources you can use for discipleship (following Jesus) at will find our new easy-to-use kids curriculum links (preschool and elementary) on the Family Resource page
- pick up a month's worth of Family Time experiential lessons from the church office that are simple to lead and engaging for everyone!

On the journey with you,
Pastor Sara

At Plymouth Covenant Church, we love kids!

We want children to come to know and love Jesus in a life-changing way. Our ministries are staffed with people who are passionate about coming alongside kids and families as they discover who Jesus is. We will do everything we can to ensure that all children feel welcome and safe as they experience the love of Jesus while in our care.

JUNE 22-26, 2020

This express train has left the station and is scheduled to stop at many homes in the PCC community! In this time of uncertainty, we want you to have something to plan on. The Children’s Ministry Team is well on it’s way to creating an innovative summer Bible program for kids. We continue to hope that we can gather in some way at church, but this year’s VBS will be fully able to be enjoyed in the safety of your home or neighborhood backyard just as well as at church! No matter what the last full week of June brings, you can count on an amazing VBS experience! So grab your tickets for the Rocky Railway!

BREAKING NEWS: This event is now FREE for all kids and families. If you have already paid registration fees, they will be fully refunded to you.

Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. beginning September 11

There’s an annual program fee of $30 per family, plus handbooks and uniforms as needed ($10 each). Scholarships are available.

Puggles (2 yr olds): Both the story cards and the Puggles t-shirt are completely optional.

Cubbies (3-5 yr olds): All Cubbies need to order the Cubbies handbook. The Cubbies vest is recommended for all first-time Cubbies. The vests run small, so order up a size or two since they need to wear it for two years.

Sparks (K-2nd grade): All first time Sparks (regardless of grade) need to order the HangGlider handbook. Continuing Sparks who finished their handbook last year will order the next handbook.

  • Year 1: HangGlider (green)
  • Year 2: WingRunner (blue)
  • Year 3: SkyStormer (red)

Continuing Sparks who did not finish their handbook last year will continue in the book they have and do not need to order a handbook at this time.

The Sparks uniform is recommended for all first-time Sparks. They will wear the vest through 2nd grade, so you may want to order a larger size to accommodate growth.

Truth & Training (3rd-5th grade): All first time T&T kids (regardless of grade) need to order T&T Grace in Action. Continuing T&T kids who finished their handbook last year will order the next handbook.

  • Year 1: T&T Grace in Action
  • Year 2: T&T Evidence of Grace
  • Year 3: T&T Agents of Grace (new curriculum) or Ultimate Challenge 1 (old curriculum)
  • Year 4: T&T Discovery of Grace (new curriculum) or Ultimate Challenge 2 (old curriculum)

Continuing T&T kids who did not finish their handbook last year will continue in the book they have and do not need to order a handbook at this time.

The T&T uniform is recommended for all first-time T&T kids. They will wear the uniform through 5th grade, so you may want to order a larger size to accommodate growth.

NOTE: If you have a 2nd grader that has finished the Sparks books or a 4th/5th grader that has finished the T&T books, please contact Pastor Sara about which handbook to order. You can use the “Ask a Question” button below to send her an email.

  • The privilege of worshiping together as one family of faith, all ages included
  • Children grow in faith as they engage worship with their parents
  • Four weekends per year: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Christmas/NewYear's

Worship Together weekends are meant to bring people of all ages together for worship. They often include special elements that are family friendly (like the Labor Day Weekend Food Drive). Worship Together weekends are intentionally crafted to help our kids see what worshiping God in the larger faith community looks like. Adults benefit from their curiosity, their free spirits, and their sense of wonder. Don’t miss the opportunity to Worship Together!
