75th Indian Independence Day Celebration
India became independent in 1947 from British Raj. This event is celebrated across India irrespective of Caste, Class, and religion. This is a time of joy and a day to be celebrated along with showcasing Indian culture. Indian’s love to dress in their own colorful dress. All are invited for an evening to taste India through all the senses. PCC has been doing this event for the last 5 years. You along with your friends and family are invited to a celebration on Sunday, August 15, of the 75th Indian Independence day here at Plymouth Covenant Church, at 5 pm.
This event will involve:
- Singing of national anthem
- Some information about the Indian freedom struggle
- Indian Cultural performances
- Prayers for India & Spiritual Message
- Free food.
This is a public event, where everyone and anyone is welcome. Invitations are also available at the HUB.
