Ash Wednesday Soup & Service

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the church Lenten season, a 40-day period during which the Christian community meditates upon Jesus’ life and death. This a season of self-examination as we ponder the depth of God’s love, grace and sacrifice.

We invite you to join us at 5:30 on Wednesday, March 6, for a simple soup dinner that will be provided at no charge. Following our meal, everyone will gather in the main sanctuary for a time of worship, prayer, consecration and the imposition of ashes.

Our regular AWANA program will not be held on this evening.
