Some significant changes are taking place to the Awana Together ministry this fall that we hope will make Awana Together a ministry that more and more families can say “yes!” to. Let’s jump right in with what’s new this year!
NEW NIGHT: Awana Together is moving to Sunday evenings from 6-7:30pm. Two factors are driving this decision: we sense that helping families keep their midweek schedule uncluttered will be helpful in this season; additionally, with the health guidelines that are in place, we cannot fit three major ministries in our church building on Wednesday nights!
NEW PROGRAM PIECE: we are adding a 15 minute on-site handbook piece for Sparks and T&T kids toward the end of the night. We hope this will encourage kids and help parents as we work together toward handbook completion!
NEW PARTNERSHIPS: While Awana Together is meeting, two other major ministries will be in the building with us: ReEngage and club45 (yes! club45 is moving to prime time). We are excited about the energy that these three ministries will bring!
Not ready to gather at church yet? We support you! As always, Awana Together makes it possible for you to participate at home. As a family, you can continue to work through handbooks at your pace in the comfort and safety of your home. You will see an option for this on the registration form. If there are several families who choose to stay home, we might be able to develop an online piece of this ministry that will allow you to connect virtually with others. Stay tuned!
In this season, we are trying to balance many ministry priorities with your family’s needs. Our efforts are bookended by health guidelines that impact how we gather. We are doing our best to innovate in meaningful ways and hope that you are as excited Awana Together moving to Sunday evenings as we are!
COST: $30 per family plus $10 for each handbook/uniform ordered
