Poverty Simulation
The Poverty Simulation is a 2 hour interactive activity designed to cultivate a new understanding around poverty and its contributing factors. Groups of participants take on the role of a Minneapolis family, having to navigate decisions around housing, employment, transportation, health care, and more. The simulation is based on the real-life experiences.
It’s a great opportunity to increase our awareness, deepen our compassion and be better equipped to walk with people in our community who live differently than we do. Join us for a 2 hour simulation scheduled around our weekend service times. This experience will be a great enhancement to the He Gets Us sermon series throughout March. Jesus gets those living in poverty. Let’s love our neighbors as Jesus does.
