international ministry

Our city has become the home for many visitors from around the world. Many of the new arrivals find it difficult to build friendships and adapt to this different culture. It is the desire of our International Ministries to help them find a caring community where they can turn for help and support.

We offer a variety of opportunities for internationals to gather with us

Badminton is a popular game around the world and we open our courts to the community on Sundays 3:00-6:00pm and Fridays 6:00-9:00pm. **Due to Covid we currently have to limit the amount of people in the gym. Please contact Pastor Sanjeev to inquire about availability.

We meet on the second Friday evening of every month from 6:30-8:30 PM to play games, share snacks, and discuss helpful topics:
adapting to a new culture, parenting, navigating public
education, community resources, managing your money, etc… Some nights we watch a movie or enjoy entertainment together.

We host international students from the UofM every quarter for a night of food and fun. These students are looking for connection and a home away from home. Help us make them welcome in this foreign country and show God’s love.  Everyone is welcome. Upcoming dates are: April 8, July 8, and October 14.

We enjoy gathering to share seasonal and national celebrations:

Indian Independence Day

Did you know that there are about 50,000 Indian living in the Twin Cities. Since 2016 we have been celebrating India’s Independence Day together.

Thanksgiving Celebration

Thanksgiving Day is a new celebration for many new arrivals to the United States. On this special holiday we invite "the world" to gather with us for a traditional meal and shared thanksgiving.

International Christmas Day Service

We share the joy of Christmas by singing carols at homes and in our community. The carolers go on invitations and look forward to helping others enter the Spirit of Christmas. On Christmas Day we host an international worship service followed by a meal with flavors from around the world.

Chinese New Year

Every year in January or February we celebrate the Lunar New Year with our Asian friends and invite everyone to join in a fun cultural event.

We look forward to having you join us at one of our events. Please be sure to bring your neighbors and friends as we gather the world together in the name of Jesus.
