Our mission at Light of Hope is to bring hope and restoration to young, broken lives through the love of Jesus Christ.

Scroll through the slides below and find out more about what a missions trip to Light of Hope could look like…

Teams build relationships with the girls and staff, have fun, laugh, and play games
We join the girls for their every day chores of caring for animals and gardens
We support local staff at the Dental Clinic to provide much needed care for the girls
Some on our team manage medical outreach care to the commmunity
Our teams lead Bible studies, teach and do projects
or take turns leading story time and work to make a spiritual impact in the young girl's lives

Schools have been shut down in Kenya due to the Covid outbreak.  There are movements to slowly reopen.  Distance learning is not an option for most students due to extreme poverty.  The school’s computer lab is very unusual in Kenya and puts LOH on a high level of opportunity.  During the closure girls have been making masks, doing educational and development projects, taking care of the garden and each other.
