Caring for preschoolers (birth through kindergarten), and guiding these little souls is beautiful and hard, and having each other to lean on is life-giving. That’s why we connect moms locally to meet together to laugh, cry, and embrace the journey of motherhood. You don’t have to struggle through the challenges alone. Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is open to all women who desire encouragement, friendship with other moms, and a nudge closer to Jesus. This is motherhood, and together with God we can change the world in all the best ways!

This group serves mothers of school-age kids (kindergarten through teen), providing community that grows with them as they mother. Every year, mothers leave MOPS. Some graduate (they no longer have preschoolers) while others leave with a foot in both worlds as their oldest ventures off to school.

MOMSnext is MOPS—the brand and values are the same, but the needs of the mom have changed. Instead of discussions about potty training and sleepless nights, MOMSnext moms need to talk about other topics, such as partnering with teachers and navigating their children’s increased freedoms on the internet, in the neighborhood, and at home. We’re here to encourage and serve you just as we did in MOPS.

MOPS meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month. We’re now offering MOPS/MOMSnext mornings from 9:30–11:30 a.m. and evenings from 7:00–9:00 p.m.

Session 1: Sept. 24 (Open House/Kick-Off Morning), Oct. 8, Oct. 22, Nov. 12, Nov. 26, and Dec. 10

Session 2: Jan. 14, Jan. 28, Feb. 11, Feb. 25, Mar. 11, Mar. 25, Apr. 8, Apr. 22, and May 13

Each of these gatherings include socialization with other moms, hot coffee and tea, morning brunch with appetizers, fruits, veggies, and desserts, speakers on relevant topics, and even a couple creative activities.

The program fee for 2018-2019 is $120 for either the morning or evening MOPS/MOMSnext. The MOPS Kids fee is $50 for the year, regardless of the number of children registered.

The program fee covers the required MOPS/MOMSnext international membership for you and our mentor moms, our creative activities, snacks for our MOPS Kids workers, a few meals for our new mothers, hospitality supplies, and speakers for the year. The MOPS Kids fee helps cover childcare, snacks, and crafts.

Please note: MOPS Kids is only offered for Morning MOPS programming, children birth to preschool ages only.

If you have financial constraints, please contact Char Peterson at about scholarships or alternative payment plans.  In the email please include your full name and number and how many kids along with names and ages and how much you can pay toward MOPS. MOPS/MOMSnext should be a blessing to you and your family, not a burden.

Serve as a Volunteer
We want to help you discover the right fit as you use your gifts and skills to serve God and other MOPS moms. Service on our leadership team is made to fit around your schedule and your interest and time commitment. Learn more by contacting

We’re looking for moms to serve on our hospitality team, decorating team, and crafts & activities team. If you’re interested in any other areas of service, please let us know and we would be happy to welcome you to our team!

Serve as a Mom
As part of our service to one another, each mom—along with her small group—is asked to provide brunch (if in the morning MOPS/MOMSnext) or appetizers and desserts (if in the evening MOPS/MOMSnext) two to three times during the year.

MOPS Kids is the MOPS children’s curriculum for your baby, toddler, and/or preschooler. Our curriculum has a spiritual emphasis with playtime, stories, crafts, and a snack to develop the young mind, body, and spirit. We are blessed with many childcare workers—grandmas, moms with empty nests, teenage homeschoolers, etc.—who willingly and regularly serve to show love to your kids. MOPS Kids is only offered during the morning MOPS ministry.
