Get ready to hear from retired U.S. Navy Captain Tom Joyce, a TOPGUN fighter pilot whose life has taken him from the cockpit of an F-14A Tomcat to the command of one of America’s most powerful aircraft carriers. A graduate of the Navy Fighter Weapons School…TOPGUN, Tom flew the legendary F-14A Tomcat, including in scenes from the original TOPGUN movie. But his story goes far beyond flying fast. Tom served as Commanding Officer of the USS Kitty Hawk, survived the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the Pentagon, and went on to build a distinguished career marked by leadership, courage, and service.
