We are excited to have the opportunity to bring a group of our 8th graders to Lead the Cause a ministry of Dare2Share.
We believe this trip is designed for those students who have professed a faith in Jesus. Part of the registration includes students sharing why they want to attend and their faith story. Dare2Share is a ministry that's mission statement is that every teen everywhere hears the gospel from a friend. They put on this week long training event that helps create passionate disciples who are reaching their world with the Gospel. This powerful week really flips the switch within the hearts and minds of students. It changes youth ministry culture from teens being the consumers to the creators of ministry opportunities. Students will come home from LTC, energized in their faith, passionate about the lost and equipped with tools to reach their friends and a plan to get started.
The plan is for our group to fly to Colorado. We will stay together on the campus of Colorado Christian University. Each day we will spend time worshiping, and learning and then go practice praying, serving and sharing around Denver.
The cost of the trip is $1,250 per student. (With the church paying $400 per student.) We don't want anyone to say no to this trip because of finances. We have scholarships available and utilize three main sources to help students fund their own trip.
Please register and pay the first deposit by Sunday November 16.
